1. Overview
This Refund & Cancellation Policy governs the refund and cancellation terms for GrantSense AI subscriptions. We are committed to customer satisfaction while maintaining fair business practices.
2. Subscription Plans
Annual Subscription
Price: ₹1,999 per year (inclusive of applicable taxes)
Billing Cycle: Annual (365 days from activation date)
Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date
3. Refund Policy
3.1 Eligibility for Refunds
We offer refunds under the following conditions:
✓ Eligible for Refund (within 7 days):
- Refund request made within 7 days of initial subscription purchase
- No significant usage of AI features (fewer than 5 eligibility checks or proposal generations)
- Technical issues preventing access to the platform (verified by our team)
- Duplicate or accidental payment (verified through payment gateway records)
✗ Not Eligible for Refund:
- Refund request made after 7 days of subscription purchase
- Subscription has been actively used (multiple searches, AI features, downloads)
- Change of mind or no longer needing the service after usage
- Failure to apply for grants or receive funding (we provide tools, not guaranteed outcomes)
- Renewal payments (subscriptions that have auto-renewed)
- Partial refunds for unused portions of the subscription period
3.2 Refund Process
To request a refund:
- Submit Request: Email support@grantsense.com with subject line "Refund Request - [Your Order ID]"
- Provide Details: Include your registered email, order ID/transaction ID, reason for refund, and payment proof
- Verification: Our team will review your request within 3-5 business days
- Decision: You will receive an email with approval or rejection of your refund request
- Processing: If approved, refunds are processed within 7-10 business days to the original payment method
3.3 Refund Timeline
- Review Period: 3-5 business days
- Processing Time: 7-10 business days after approval
- Bank Credit: Additional 5-7 days depending on your bank
- Total Expected Time: 15-22 business days from request submission
3.4 Refund Amount
If your refund is approved, you will receive:
- Full Refund: 100% of the subscription amount (₹1,999) minus payment gateway charges (typically 2-3%)
- Refunded to the original payment method (credit/debit card, UPI, net banking)
- If original payment method is not available, alternative arrangements will be made
4. Cancellation Policy
4.1 How to Cancel
You may cancel your subscription at any time. To cancel:
- Log into your GrantSense AI account
- Navigate to Dashboard → Profile/Settings
- Click on "Manage Subscription" or "Cancel Subscription"
- Follow the on-screen instructions
- Alternatively, email support@grantsense.com with subject "Cancel Subscription"
4.2 Effect of Cancellation
- Immediate Effect: Cancellation prevents future auto-renewal charges
- Access Until End: You retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period
- No Partial Refunds: Cancellation does NOT entitle you to a refund for the remaining subscription period
- Data Retention: Your account and data remain accessible in read-only mode after expiry
- Reactivation: You can reactivate your subscription at any time by making a new payment
4.3 Auto-Renewal Cancellation
To prevent auto-renewal, you must cancel at least 24 hours before your subscription renewal date. Cancellations made after renewal charges are processed are not eligible for refunds.
5. Special Circumstances
5.1 Technical Issues
If you experience persistent technical issues preventing access to the platform:
- Contact support immediately with detailed error descriptions and screenshots
- Our team will work to resolve issues within 48 hours
- If issues cannot be resolved within 7 days, you may be eligible for a pro-rata refund
5.2 Pricing Changes
If we increase subscription prices:
- Existing subscribers will be notified 30 days in advance
- New prices apply only at your next renewal
- You may cancel before renewal to avoid the price increase
5.3 Account Termination by Us
If we terminate your account due to violations of our Terms of Service, you are not eligible for any refund.
6. Partner Program Refunds
For partners earning commissions:
- If an NGO subscription is refunded, any related partner commissions will be reversed
- Partners will be notified of commission reversals
- Outstanding negative balances must be settled before future payouts
7. Disputes
If you disagree with our refund decision:
- Request a review by emailing grievance@grantsense.com
- Provide additional evidence supporting your case
- Our Grievance Officer will conduct a secondary review within 7 business days
- The Grievance Officer's decision is final
8. Payment Gateway Issues
For payment failures, duplicate charges, or gateway-related issues:
- Contact our support team with transaction ID and payment proof
- We will investigate with Razorpay (our payment partner)
- Resolution typically takes 7-14 business days
- Verified duplicate charges are refunded within 7 days of verification

Important Reminders
- 7-Day Window: Refund requests must be made within 7 days of purchase with minimal usage
- No Partial Refunds: We do not provide pro-rata refunds for unused portions of subscriptions

- Gateway Charges: Payment gateway fees (2-3%) are deducted from refunds
